Happs

 Released 2026-02-04

“Words belong to those who have experienced it.”

  G’day!

Sidney SN 2026 is here with a brand-new drum & bass mix.

Sidney wasn’t exactly keen to mix something new after Discotheque, a mix he enjoyed. But then again, he could say the same about Orangery or plenty of his other mixes.

The Netherlands — especially its coastline — is something Sidney SN associates with Australian coastlines.

Recently, the Netherlands a survey (Numbeo Quality of Life Index) ranked as number one in the world for quality of life. Another survey (Berkshire Hathaway Travel Protection) named Australia the second safest country on the planet.

Both the Netherlands and Australia inspire me, and that happs runs right through Sidney SN’s music.

 Happs

is a new Sidney SN mix to kick off 2026. In a way, this year marks an anniversary — ten years ago, back when he was still just Sidney (without the SN), Sidney mixed his very first liquid drum & bass set.

The mix is almost entirely liquid drum and bass, but there are rare exceptions that might not sound like drum and bass, even though they were released by the best drum and bass labels. In the end of the mix is also mixed a hip hop track. I also like hip hop.

Sometimes people say that Amsterdam slightly distorts how the Netherlands is seen. But ordinary people aren’t like these Red Lights mixed with Dreamcatcher in the end of the Sidney SN mix.

All words belong to those who have experienced it...

Tracklist:

Overgrown by Pola & Bryson  (Shogun Audio)

Want U Bad by Solah  (Hospital Records)

‘No More Secrets’

I Want You X LENS UK (Sidney SN)

I’ve got something special for a smile.

I’ve been having some depressive episodes this week. I told myself that as a social services worker I should know that I need some kind of intervention. So I opened my laptop to try making some music.

And hah, it went surprisingly fast...

I like the movie You Get Me (2017). The film was also crucial in the moment when I discovered New Retro Wave. In the famous and amazing pool scene, the music Dreams by Timecop1983 (feat. Dana Jean Phoenix) plays. There’s also a scene earlier in some club.

And that’s where the track I Want You by Loosid appears. Marufo by the UK drum and bass producer LENS, together with Sidney SN’s edit, makes a great pair.

Yet, I Want You Sidney SN edit is not a drum and bass music.

Enjoy!

Orangery (SIDNEY NL edm-liquid Mix) 2025

09/26/2025

Hi! Sidney SN here with my latest liquid DNB mix.

But this one isn’t just your usual mix — Orangery is a liquid EDM journey.

I had this idea of creating a kind of disco DNB, and since autumn is here in Europe, with fruit trees needing warmth to get through the cold days, the concept felt right.

I had almost the whole mix done, but it felt a bit short, so I searched for something more. That’s when I decided it might be a good idea to blend Poetry by SOLAH with… well, a mistake actually led me to Love The Way by LENS. Within seconds, I also discovered Love Is Ocean by Midnight — a proper New Retro track with that top-quality UK DNB touch. And that’s not the last gem in Orangery.

The mix explores different BPMs but keeps its core on 172. For example, Inbetween Your Choice blends into Days of Thunder — a remix of a New Retro Wave track by PROFF pres. Soultorque. From there, it flows into Hoop Dreams by Futurecop!. And yes, you’ll also hear some expected highlights like Constant by SOLAH, Lights Down by Weynorx, Bolson by Mitekiss, and many more EDM liquid DNB vibes.

When I archive mixes with the player, I feel it’s a better way to preserve Sidney SN music than relying on common social media. Even if the world ended, the music would still be stored — sealed like a treasure in a nuclear-proof Snowden Archive.

Enjoy your Orangery!!

Another 1000 Miles (Sidney SN SoulfulLiquidDNB Mix)

In April 2025, Sidney SN released Leucanthemum (Leontyne), a spring liquid drum and bass mix.

Although Sidney SN had no plans to release another mix, he spontaneously dropped Another 1000 Miles on BassBlog.pro. The inspiration for Another 1000 Miles came from Life Is But A Dream by London Elektricity. If it weren’t for that track, Another 1000 Miles wouldn’t exist. In Leucanthemum (Leontyne), Sidney SN mixed Life Is Beautiful by London Elektricity—and now, everything seems to continue with Life Is But A Dream in Another 1000 Miles.

But Another 1000 Miles is a bit different from previous mixes on Sidney SN’s BassBlog.pro. It has a different vibe—maybe more similar to Sidney SN’s pre-2019 mixes, before something changed due to world events.

For example, Life Is But A Dream is blended with Velour by Koherent feat. Catching Cairo. I really love Catching Cairo’s vocals. Or there’s Swang Song (Calibre Remix) feat. Dua Lipa, mixed with Nostalgia by Icicle. Also, for liquid people legendary, Never Let You Go (Blu Mar Ten Remix) by Seba, and the instrumental Shattered Dreams by TS—this one really makes the mix stand out to me. Mixed with Waves by Linx, this is a poison of a smell by a red flowers, for me. And of course, 1000 Miles by Machinedrum and Sub Focus.

Maybe this mix will get fewer plays because it’s a little different—but Sidney SN simply loves every track in it. Simply, not everything from Sidney SN needs to be understood—because his reality might exist beyond what others think his reality should be. Enjoy the summer!

And for an Another 1000 Miles, thank you for this week

Leucanthemum (Leontyne)

During a techno festival 2024 in Netherlands there was a person who had a question to Sidney SN, ‘When will be an end…?’. And Sidney SN said, ‘I don’t know…’.

A truth is that during 2022 Sidney SN said something about possibilities for an end.

But Sidney SN is here still or yet and he has no idea about what will be. Maybe right now. Maybe when she takes off a bra. But otherwise there were an adult movie Latina young girls in a four bang that they also liked me. And also other an adult movie girl pretty close of a my lollipop when I enjoyed the licking together with the dancing on a good music. I don’t think that this is an end for what there was or will be.

And because again at Sidney SN BassBlog.pro is a more plays at his last mix on this platform, Sidney SN is release other full liquid drum and bass mix.

But I don’t want the mix at BassBlog.pro, and the Sidney SN mix is archived, although…

You can expecting a new experience of an improvisations from a music journey as are that the melodies of a liquid drum and bass vibes by leucanthemum itself or their lightness of being as is that innocent itself of being.

Tracklist: 01. Linx - Waves (Liquiddnbftw, Ledge) 02. LSB - About Tonight (Spearhead Records) 03. Artsea - Retreat (Ledge) 04. Pola & Bryson, Hugh Hardie - Vetur (Shogun Audio) 05. Let’s Meet In The Garden

Maybe you know that I like melodic techno, tech-house, progressive, something from EDM, I had already a words about the people as is EDX, Miss Monique, Daniel Portman, Fejka, Anjunadeep, Nora En Pure and similarly melodic people.

And I think a melodic progressive tech-house has something similar with liquid drum and bass because both are a melodic music genres and both also can take a similarly senses.

I don’t know how it in a future but now Sidney SN tried about a melodic progressive tech-house mix for first time and… result can listening;

Let’s Meet In The Garden I released as Sidney SN. In a way, the vibes of the 124 BPM melodies is too a my identity. But I don’t know if this is a future of Sidney SN. I still see as the way liquid drum and bass especially and melodic progressive tech-house is a secondary in a my mixing. I still enjoying mixing of liquid drum and bass more than the melodic 124 BPM things.

I think the mix is good and I enjoyed mixing of a 124 BPM beautiful melodic tracks for first time in my life. I thought that for me will be difficult mixing melodic progressive tech-house because mixing of a drum and bass I see as something different. And a truth is that when I had on players the melodic progressive tech-house tracks I was little confused how I will mixing it and I said to myself that maybe this will be impossible for me because mixing of liquid drum and bass is not the same and I am glad that the mixing of melodic progressive tech-house worked as were a my imaginations.

Tracklist: 01. VisionV - Blossom (Colonize) 02. Joseph Ray Extended Remix - This Version Of You (George V Records) 03. Alesso - Destinations (Alesso/Def Jam) 04. Jackarta - Here She Comes (Songspire Records) 05. Kaiyan - Cressida (Colonize) 06. Nora En Pure & Dinka Remix - You Make Me Float (Enormous Tunes) 07. Kaiyan - Dancing In The Shadow (Colonize) 08. Motives - Gone (Colonize) 09. LEGATO - So Close Now (Eton Messy Records) 010. Ben Böhmer - In Memorian (Anjunadeep) 011. Fejká - Olson (Ki Records) 012. Mango & djimboh - Klave (Colonize) + end is again with This Version Of You

I like the P*rn

 Hey in 2025

On his BassBlog.pro Sidney SN released a new proper liquid drum and bass mix;

I like the P*rn.

I think that I like the P*rn are the right words about the liquid drum and bass which I want to feel in my life. The liquid drum and bass is the just like that for me.

In the previously mix I said that I don’t expect too much plays as is at a previously mix, but I see many plays even at the previously mix here on BassBlog.pro. Maybe I like the P*rn will be the mix where will be less or more plays :D

In a life I learned that a main person for a care is a man itself and a result you can to see. I care also about other people but for it itself a man need care especial about yourself.

And maybe one from the tracks in the mix is, among other a reactions, the delayed reaction on the everything.

Thank you for your support for the all time that you know about Sidney SN.

The tracklist is a great. And I enjoyed mixing of these tracks. Enjoy the mix like me.

Tracklist: 1: Zombie Cats & Redemptive - Moon Totem (Liquicity Records) 2: Artsea – Retreat (Ledge Sound) 3: (Pola & Bryson Remix) venbee, Dan Fable – low down (Columbia) (Sony) 4: Rafau Etamski – Some Day (Celsius Recordings) 5: Mitekiss – Bolson (Hospital Records) 6: Qumulus – Sunbeam (Fokuz Recordings) 7: Winslow – Mad Flavours (Soulvent Records) 8: Philth, Visionobi & SOLAH – Weather The Storm (Soulvent Records) 9: Mystific – Natalia Theme (Fokuz Recordings) 10: Alpha Rhythm & Pyxis – Opacity (Goldfat Records) 11: Deviant & Sam Binary – Silk Notes (The Chikara Project) 12: Surreal – Hiatus (Galacy)

A update about this release: In a hope for an end of the madness, when I see California wildfires, I have a doubts that released of the mix right now was the good idea.

Back To Skyward

  01/21/2024

Sidney SN is there with a new Drum And Bass mix.

Back To Skyward is not only a full liquid drum and bass, but the mix is a more colorful.

As Back To Skyward specialty is the vibes of the tracks what I mixed together.

Back To Skyward is little an energetic drum and bass mix by a my energy I don’t want prisoned in my mind.

When I listened When We Were Cool by Boxplot, I wanted to mixing a set with a similarly vibes across whole a drum and bass mix. And a result of the my trying is the Back To Skyward.

Wen We Were Cool sound as an America vibes (often what in Europe we listening in American movies) as is Boxplot an American men itself.

The mix was been little difficult to mixing for me, but a result is there as Back To Skyward. In the mix are often changing a melodies when in Back To Skyward I mixing liquid drum and bass tracks with a deep drum and bass tracks and with more vocal and instrumental and energetic tracks as is When We Were Cool, Release Yourself, Human Again or RIENK in New Horizon.

I tried also to in Back To Skyward could be a tracks with similarly men vocals as is vocal by James Burki in When We Were Cool and Sam M in Release Yourself or vocal in New Horizon completed what I wanted for a Back To Skyward.

As an American movie, life itself is like a movie someday. And in Back To Skyward mix is also a story of a real life's. Human Again by Boxplot is a life story itself.

LENS - Give Me A Reason (Sidney SN Re:boot) As an Thanks to Ukraine

It’s totally sad for me what has been happening since the beginning of 2023. There have been situations where I faced problems because of the “red idiots” who want to create a deficit to support a war against Western Europe. The Netherlands has already been affected by Putin’s actions in their sea territory. In 2023, there were also multiple threats from Putin regarding the occupation of the Berlin area, and more.

Maybe the whole of Europe—or at least Western Europe—should be grateful to the Ukrainian warriors and soldiers, because they are the ones currently protecting and saving all of Western Europe. As a thank you to Ukraine for protecting our homes, Sidney SN is releasing a new track or rework. Give Me A Reason is not just a release because Ukraine is saving us—it’s also released in support of Ukraine.

Thank you for supporting Sidney SN. Shut down all the red, stupid behavior—and enjoy everything beautiful the world still offers. The bootleg took around six hours to complete in FL Studio. Sometimes, change comes fast—especially when reality gives us no choice.

Also, based on my experiences with many people—especially Czech people—some say that Putin’s war against Ukraine is just a “Ukrainian issue,” and that countries like Czechia shouldn’t support Ukraine as strongly as some Western countries do. But when someone speaks that way about war, it’s exactly the moment when I say no to the wannabe truth of such people. There was even an attack in Dutch waters that seemed more serious for the Netherlands than the COVID pandemic itself. I’ve said many times that when I visited the Netherlands in summer 2022—my first time there after the pandemic—people there weren’t nervous or in a bad state, unlike in Czechia. The general atmosphere in the Netherlands before and after the pandemic was very different from what I saw in Czechia. And in 2023, people in the Netherlands became visibly more nervous because of Putin’s actions in their waters—something that didn’t happen in 2022.

That shows clearly: this war is not just against Ukraine. There have been multiple attempts by Putin to threaten Europe’s airspace and launch attacks against Berlin. Also, the pandemic laid the groundwork for certain psychological or behavioral predictions, which may have been part of planning future attacks—especially in places like Czechia. Putin even said he wants to “take back” what was supposedly “stolen” at the end of the 1980s—including the Berlin area. So, saying this war is only a Ukrainian issue is total nonsense. No—it’s another war against Western Europe, and a new war against the EU. The war started after the pandemic. Maybe their plans didn’t go as expected—and we are still here, alive.

Give Me A Reason (Sidney SN Re:boot) by LENS UK sounds like it’s playing at “volume+”—even more intense than the original version by LENS. This louder, more impactful version makes sense on SoundCloud.

A Zen for a Sidney SN fans; Lullaby Coast's

There was a time in autumn 2014 when I really needed a mix like this. Lullaby Coasts is a special mix, because from start to finish, it carries the vibe of the Zen of California Coast video, which captures springtime on the California coast. You can find the video on YouTube.

Summer 2023 was been for me a summer of freedom vibes, when I searched again more for a senses of life, how Universe work on a places in Central Europe that I like them for many years because these places get me answers on a my questions.

I like when a music, environments and people have a intelligent shadow. I thank to a Consciousness for my experiences with Universe what inspired me for this total inter-dimension mix.

And I released Lullaby Coast's 09/11 with a sense about a war tensions there:

Sidney SN BassBlog Guest Mix

Sidney SN BassBlog Guest Mix (Take The Vibes) is a reflection of my vibes from spring 2022. It also serves as a promo mix for Sidney SN in 2022. Back in January and February 2022, I had doubts about the purpose of my mixing. I released Lost in Liquid Vibes, and at the time, it felt like it might be the last Sidney SN mix for a while. But with the arrival of spring, I felt a wave of new energy—so I released Let It Breathe as well. After I released Let It Breathe, BassBlog contacted me about creating a BassBlog Guest Mix.

Fred V - Atmosphere (feat. Lottie Jones) Sidney SN Bootleg

I’m a little excited about this remix or bootleg, because the original track Atmosphere by Fred V features such a beautiful vocal by Lottie Jones. I really like Fred V’s artistry, and I absolutely love Lottie Jones’ vocals in this bootleg. The track also carries vibes from Sonder by Rameses B—and, of course, many signature Sidney SN vibes. It’s a fully atmospheric liquid drum and bass track. Enjoy the track!

Lost in Liquid Vibes

I’m going through a time where I have doubts about releasing Sidney SN mixes, because there are several things that make me question the purpose of Sidney SN’s mixing.

I’m truly grateful for the real-life feedback I’ve received about Sidney SN. Some of these moments have brought me to tears—because you like me or even love me.

But at the same time, there are issues with some people from Central Europe, especially as I start doubting my own mixing. I don’t want to introduce people to a so-called culture that isn’t actually a culture—because of the behavior associated with it. Liquid drum and bass is often considered an intelligent music genre, but in Central Europe, it sometimes serves as an entry point to neurofunk events and the drug-fueled reality that exists here. I don’t want to be the person who, through liquid drum and bass, leads people into a distorted version of reality like what often surrounds the Central European drum and bass scene.
