A music history of Sidney SN

 During 2001 I awarded Love Parade CD compilation in Carrefour in Pilsner, Czechia. Although – among other music genres - in my 90´s childhood I listened electronic music as was Scooter (I had every Scooter release), during my 15 old Love Parade compilation was something totally different what I listened before.

Love Parade compilation brought me into techno culture. In early 2000 I visited some techno events in Czechia. But there was something wrong as common drug reality on Czechia techno events why I leaved these Czech techno events during 2004. I think because drug as Czech methamphetamine was also reason for another things why me rejected Czech techno events. After 2005 there was boom in speed techno as was hard techno or schranz, or in Czechia was boom in free tekno as total free drug reality. People on speed wanted speed in techno or they wanted free for drug using on free tekno events, I think.

The times during and after 2005 was for me difficult time. Because I don’t like disco (this is not as EDM reality on Tomorrowland) events vibes in Czechia similarly as drug reality on techno or I don’t like free tekno and everything what is free tekno non-culture. In these times I searched a new music genre what will be possible for me.

Probably as answer itself to speed techno there was boom in minimal techno during 2006. I found something from me in minimal techno. And in the same times I found progressive tech-house also. Progressive tech-house was also something what saving me before 2010. But during 2010 I liked Inigo Kennedy techno or non-techno more to break tracks also. But I liked more his tracks and not mixes. In these Inigo Kennedy tracks as was been on EP Beyond Foundations, Ignoring The Obvious, Maudlin Tangents, Melting Pots etc. was a vibes what was something what make connections to my thinking about Universe and space reality in these times before 2010.

Drum and bass events I visiting from 2001 and first drum and bass CD what I listened during autumn 2001 was Ed Rush. Jungle was as second stage often on Czech techno events in early 2000 and these second stages brought me to drum and bass. But I don’t liked Czech mainstream jungle or drum and bass events and drum and bass not was been something as first what I wanted for many years.

But truth is, during autumn 2006 I awared a drum and bass Germany website where was dark drum and bass (as neurofunk of these times) and also there was uploaded a liquid, funky drum and bass mixes. The Germany website was first contact for me with something where in drum and bass was more interested instruments and funky things. This funky or liquid drum and bass what I awared on the Germany drum and bass website was for me something total different what I knew from Czechia events (Times without online there was especially.).

During times when I searched for something more liquid drum and bass before 2010, I awared Artificial Intelligence, for example. The UK project was something what I liked pretty much in my headphones: Good liquid drum and bass and MC together.

After 2010 there was an online boom on Youtube, for example, where was possible found a new era of liquid drum and bass. In the times before 2015 raised many liquid drum and bass producers as was Netsky itself (producers as is Edlan, Changing Faces, Hybrid Minds, Aidans, Maduk and Liquicity Records, Feint, Etherwood, ... vocalist as Laura Brehm, Veela, Riya, ... also rised by these YouTube platforms itself). And this online era of Youtube liquid drum and bass platforms (Chilloutbear, Liquiddnbftw, for example) was something why Sidney SN exist.

Although I have experience with dj mixing from autumn 2006, when I mixed a techno tracks on Winamp, for example, it took eight years to times when I started mixing what I want because liquid drum and bass ideas what was total different and not-drug reality. I think when in 90s was liquid drum and bass as Intelligent jungle, this says something about liquid drum and bass with that I agree.

Sidney SN exist because me found electronic music genre what take intelligence vibes more than a music genre for drug or alcohol raving especially.

During 2018 I confronted myself with another drum and bass music genre, with deep drum and bass. On YouTube I listened mix which Kyrist played. Although I had doubts about if I like whole the mix, Kyrist there mixed Interval by Spirit with Colours by Revoux feat. Charli Brix, this was something so nice for me what brought me to deep drum and bass by Kyrist and to deep drum and bass itself. 

I think, deep drum and bass itself is intelligent drum and bass often, because deep drum and bass producers get intelligent senses to their drum and bass or an knowledge from them. Kyrist itself is among the deep drum and bass producers and djs who bring into music something interesting from them and who is not among the deep drum and bass producers or djs who mixing drum and bass for their egoism or for bongos.

Although I like something from deep drum and bass or I like someone's from deep drum and bass producers, liquid drum and bass is something what I don't want to leave and liquid drum and bass is first for me still because I don't want more darkness in life although no everytime is a time for a sweet vibes. But how I do, an darkness is not reason for be darkness but reason for what is possible to say with liquid drum and bass, because in liquid drum and bass is many sweetes or darkness or sadness together with more positive melodies or sadness melodies as is vocal itself. Also because sadness and darkness in liquid drum and bass I like or I love this music genre. But I don't say deep drum and bass must be dark, because deep drum and bass by someone's can be good energetic and positive set for a drum and bass events itself. 

To progressive tech-house, EDM, melodic techno or dark techno: I like progressive for many years. Miss Monique livestream, for example, I knew from 2014, when her livestream was uploaded on Radio Radio Intense. I support positive vibes of EDM as is on Tomorrowland. And although I am criticis to some techno people or producers and scenes I like someone's by techno, and not only someone as Anfisa Letyago, Monika Kruse, Sven Vath, Charlotte de Witte and another more melodic techno but although I don't like so much dark techno by Paula Temple or Rebekah, for example, I like their approaches to techno or I like some their techno tracks because they want say something with their music about me have interest or about what I think and their music is not about raving with impossible mind. But drum and bass, especially liquid drum and bass it's something what I like everyday of my life and techno of someone's it's something what bring to me but I don't must this music in my life.
