I’m publishing this retrospectively. Everything that changed has pushed me away from coming back.
I’m thinking of the end of 2022. It was a my good year’s end, though it drove many Central European people to madness.
I’m not interested in the oddities in the community, nor in the attempts to lure people into them. That also drives away the people I actually want to see there—they’re gone.
The year 2023 revealed this reality, when someone clung to that madness. In my view, it had already ruined things. It tends to repel decent people. I think it even affected attendance—nothing that happened in 2023 will be seen again. I’ve buried the attraction myself for it as well. Now in 2025, I witnessed the decline caused by senseless policies. Part of me laughs. And in a way, I can be indifferent, because this won’t affect a country as a whole. It’s only happening in a specific community.

Sidney SN BassBlog Guest Mix
Sidney SN BassBlog Guest Mix (Take The Vibes) is a reflection of my vibes from spring 2022. It also serves as a promo mix for Sidney SN in 2022.
Back in January and February 2022, I had doubts about the purpose of my mixing.
I released Lost in Liquid Vibes, and at the time, it felt like it might be the last Sidney SN mix for a while. But with the arrival of spring, I felt a wave of new energy—so I released Let It Breathe as well.
After I released Let It Breathe, BassBlog contacted me about creating a BassBlog Guest Mix.
